Adrian Nancekivell has over 25 years of experience gained in NZ, UK & Australia, specialising in retail interior architecture & branded environments. In 2002 Adrian launched his own practice specialising in commercial interior design & brand development for customer facing business, retail & hospitality.
Adrian has delivered a wide range of projects, including national chain stores, public retail spaces such as malls and airports, concept stores, boutiques, cafés and restaurants. He has worked directly with clients & collaborated with other specialist & consultants to create commercially successful design solutions.
Adrian has himself been a winner of multiple RED awards & we are delighted to have him on board this year as a judge
Craig is currently Managing Director at Bikes International, and has over 30 year experience in the retail sector. He is renowned for his transformative capabilities within large multi- national retail chains and since the late 1990s he has held senior roles at NZSM, NZ Post, Telecom NZ and Pacific Retail and was GM of operations at the Briscoe’s Group.
With such extensive experience across multiple divisions Craig brings a keen business & operations focus to the judging table.
Currently heads up the design studio at Designability in Christchurch. Born and bred in Canterbury Mel has been in the local design industry for 15 years and has represented a number of iconic NZ brands. Along with her Interior design qualifications Mel also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Mass Communications. Her love of education led her to work as the Interior Design Programme Coordinator for the Design and Arts College of NZ for a chapter of her career.
Retail Design is Mel’s passion and she is a self-proclaimed world champion shopper, we are pleased that she brings a fresh design & customer-centric focus to the judging panel.
